DuPont to Research Truly Alternative Fuels at $140 Million Switchgrass Ethanol Plant
While corn-based ethanol plants seem to be springing up in the U.S., DuPont has a unique research-driven perspective on both the upstream and downstream sectors of the alternative fuels market. In order to avoid the fuel-food competition, DuPont is focusing on nongrain energy crops, such as switchgrass, for fuel production.
