U.K. offers £31M for energy efficiency
UK Government's Carbon Trust plans to provide £31 million ($57 million USD) this year to businesses in the U.K. for energy efficiency improvements, the group said today. That's an increase of about 45 percent for the interest-free loan program, which also has doubled its individual loan cap to £200,000 in Great Britain and £400,000 in Northern Ireland.
