Some clean coal tech
coal liquefaction; mixing finely ground coal with oil or water to burn in oil-burning facilities; direct coal-fired heat engines which burn coal-water slurries; fluidized bed combustion that allows low-quality coals to be burned cleanly (coal is burned on a ebd of limestone or dolomite, which absorbs most of the SO2).
