Glycerol that can be used in diesel generators
Kent-based Aquafuel Research Ltd. has unveiled its new patented technology that allows the use of a biodiesel by-product in standard diesel CHP generators. The system, developed in conjunction with biofuel supplier Greenergy, allows combustion of biodiesel crude glycerol in certain diesel engines. The new technology allows glycerol, a by-product of biodiesel production, to be used as another renewable energy source.
