A team of scientists in India have discovered a low-cost method of converting CO2 emissions into useful building material. The researchers developed a method to use enzymes to turn CO2 into calcium carbonate, which used in cement or limestone aggregate for building roads. CaCO3 is typically found in rocky materials such as limestone and chalk. The project uses 7 bacteria enzymes to speed up chemical reactions and convert CO2 to calcium carbonate. - Read More
