Farmer will earn more from windmill than from biofuels
Lester Brown, president of the Earth Policy Institute says a farmer (in the US) giving a tenth of a hectare to a turbine might earn $10,000 from it a year (3% of value of electricity it produces). Planted with maize for ethanol, he'd make just 300$ (2008 report)
