Chevron is the largest producer of geothermal energy in the world, accounting for more than half of all privately developed geothermal power. Our operations started more than 30 years ago when we discovered Darajat, a major field in Indonesia. We have 3 other important sites for geothermal energy production in portfolio: Gunung Salak in Indonesia and Tiwi and Mak-Ban in Philippines.
