India Hopes to Attract Over US$4bln in Green Energy
India is hoping to attract investments of more than US$4 billion in renewable energy over the next 5-7 years, as it prepares to unveil a new biofuels policy within a month, the renewable energy minister said. EnergyMixx Gets 675 million $ project finance
Swiss renewable power company EnergyMixx has tied up a 500 million euros ($675 million) project finance mandate with Deutsche Bank, aimed at paying for the development of a hefty portfolio of solar and wind capacity in Italy. EnergyMixx, listed on the Frankfurt exchange under the EM2 ticker, said that it planned to build 105MW of solar PV and 200MW of wind, with the rolling construction programme starting in the first quarter of 2009 and reaching completion by 2011. - Read More
