Nuclear energy requires enormous amts of water
Unfortunately nuclear is not good long term solution, and not becos of nuclear waste. The problem is that nuclear power consumes an enormous amount of potable water relative to other alternatives - and thats ?consume?, as in ?use up?, not just use. And, as all factors affecting the demand for potable water continue to rise, this resource will become more scarce and expensive, making both water and electric power prices soar if we went the nuclear route.
